Meeting in the Federation Council
A working meeting was held between Ludmila Talabayeva, a member of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the seventh convocation on agrarian and food policy and nature management, a representative of the Primorsky Krai legislative body in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, a well-known Russian politician, and the leaders of the Russian Germans movement: Valdemar Gerdt, President of the International Alliance of Russian Germans (IARN), Oleg Vichman, General Secretary, and Vlad Vichman, Vice-President of the International Council of Russian Germans.
In the course of the business conversation there was a frank discussion about the urgent needs of the Far Eastern Federal District, about the tasks set before the regions during his recent visit by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, about the problems that require special attention and prompt solution.
During the talks it was decided that the problems of the relocation of Russian Germans from the Federal Republic of Germany to the Far East should be brought up for joint discussion at the next meeting of the specialized committee of the Federation Council, which Ludmila Zaumovna plans to initiate.
The parties expressed confidence that it will help to make one more step forward in improving the quality of life of Primorsky Krai residents, and citizens of unfriendly countries to find in the Russian Federation an opportunity to preserve traditional family values, including with the help of the supranational digital platform “Electronic Compatriot Card” (ECC) created by IDA specialists.
