The service allows you to apply for the initial issuance or replacement of the Compatriot Electronic Card (CEC).
ECS is a personal electronic card that provides personalized access to services and facilities that facilitate relocation and transfer of business to Russia and obtaining Russian citizenship. The ECS is issued free of charge. The ECS was developed on the initiative of Waldemar Gerdt and the
Internationale volksrat der Russlanddeutsche “Wieddergeburt” e.V.
(Registered Association “International Council of Russian Germans “Renaissance”) by the Siberian Research Institute of Automation and Control, service “SKALA-EKS”.
- Who can apply for the service
Foreign citizens and compatriots residing or doing business abroad.
- Cost of public and commercial services, payment procedure
The ECS is issued free of charge. Government and commercial services are provided free of charge or paid for in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and tariffs of commercial organizations-partners providing additional services.
- Timing of the service
The processing time of an electronic application ranges from 1 to 30 calendar days, excluding possible suspensions to obtain additional documents. The service is provided to authorized users in the personal cabinet.
- Result of the service and forms of receipt
Issuance of the Electronic Compatriot Card in electronic form. It is possible to issue a plastic card.
