XVI Assembly of the Russian World
This year, declared by the President of the Russian Federation V.V.Putin as the Year of the Family, representatives of Russian and foreign organizations from 80 countries gathered in the capital of our Motherland.
From November 1 to 3, 2024, the XVI Assembly of the Russian World was held in Moscow, where the problems of preserving our traditional values, spiritual ideals and basic principles of life, as well as the issues of preserving cultural and historical heritage in the current environment were discussed. The forum was opened by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
At the invitation of the organizers in the panel discussion “Spiritual and moral space of the Russian world: traditions, challenges, prospects” and the round table “The Russian world as a bulwark of resistance to destructive neoliberal ideology” participated and spoke by the heads of the International Council of Russian Germans “Renaissance” Waldemar Gerdt, Oleg Vikhman and Vladimir Lishchuk.
Their speeches were warmly received by those present and were repeatedly interrupted by applause.
